WAHASO PROJECT EXPERIENCE
This project was delivered by Wahaso Water Harvesting Solutions and is presented by SECURE Blue as relevant Wahaso project experience.
The University asked Wahaso to design and build a system that captures rooftop water and harvests it for toilet flushing.
With an estimated 700 students and 70 teachers and employees per day, the system needed to meet demand of 1,400 gallons per day and over 1,000 flushes.
Wahaso sized storage at 30,000 gallons of filtered rooftop rainwater in a single fiberglass tank. High-capacity pumps sit in a below-grade wet vault next to the tank.
The building was commissioned in late 2010.
